POINTS, AND THE EMAIL LIST

Two separate free things. Points come from ordering. The email list is something you opt into.

You do not have to join the list to earn points, and you do not have to buy anything to be on the list.

While you are on the list, any order over £25 comes with a free 50ml Whipped Cream Leave-in Foam. Add the foam to your basket and use code LEAVEIN at the checkout. One per customer, and the foam itself does not count towards the £25.

How the points work

• 5 points for every £1 of products. Counted on the products in your order, after any discount and before postage. A £40 order of products earns 200 points. Part points are rounded down.
• 1,000 points is a £5 gift card. It arrives by email on its own, with a gift card code in it. Paste that code at the checkout when you want to use it.
• Anything above 1,000 carries over. If an order takes you to 1,150, the card goes out and you keep the 150.
• Subscription orders earn too, on what you actually pay for them.
• Points do not expire, and neither does the gift card.
• Points started on 28 August 2026. Orders before that date were not counted.

Spending the gift card

It behaves like money at the checkout rather than a discount code, so it will not push your basket back under the £40 free delivery threshold. Anything you do not spend stays on the card for next time.

Seeing your balance

Your balance is shown at the top of this page when you are signed in. It is not shown anywhere else, so this is the page to come back to.

Signing in is your email address and a six digit code. There is no password to remember and nothing to activate.

If you ordered as a guest, sign in with the same email address you ordered with. If your balance looks wrong, email us and we will sort it out.

If you return something

The points for the returned items come off your balance, in the same way the money comes back to you. A gift card we have already sent you stays yours.

The email list

Separate from the points, and also free.

• New arrivals. We email the list when new milk_shake arrives here.
• Restocks. When something that sold out comes back in, we email the list. It is one email to everyone, not a reminder for a single product, so there is nothing for you to set up.
• Occasional offers. When we run one, it goes to the list. We do not email without a reason.

Enter your email in the signup box at the bottom of any page. That is the whole process. One welcome email arrives when you join, with the leave-in foam offer in it, and nothing after that until we have something to tell you. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list. We do not pass your address to other companies. See our privacy policy.

Common questions

Does it cost anything?

No. There is no membership fee.

Do I have to join the email list to earn points?

No. Points are counted against the email address you order with, whether or not you are on the list. We send the gift card email either way.

Are there tiers or levels?

No. One rule for everybody: 5 points per £1 of products, and a £5 gift card at 1,000.

What exactly counts towards the 1,000?

What you pay for the products, after any discount and before postage.

How often will you email me?

Only when there is something worth telling you about: new stock, a restock, or an offer. This is a small shop, so that is not often.

Do I need an account?

Not to earn points, and not to join the list. You do need to sign in to see your balance on this page, which takes a six digit code and no password.
