Curl Passion is milk_shake's line for curls and waves, and this is the shampoo it starts with.

Curls are dry by design.

The bends in the hair stop the scalp's own oil travelling down the length, so a curly hair shampoo has a harder job than a straight one, and cleaning gently is most of it.

Best for

curls that have gone limp from over-washing

Pairs with: Curl Passion Conditioner, then the Leave-In on wet hair before you dry.

Wet your curls well with lukewarm water.
Lather the shampoo gently at the scalp. Do not rub the lengths and ends.
Rinse well. The suds running through the lengths are enough to clean them.
Only shampoo again if you have a lot of product build-up. Then use Curl Passion Conditioner.

Pro tip: Rub your scalp back and forth rather than in circles. Circles tangle curls at the root.

Worst product for curly hair

I bought the shampoo and conditioner it was terrible!! Not only did it dry out my hair but it made my scalp itchy and I would break out in hives. I didn’t want to believe it was the product but after using it several times the problem kept happening. I lost so much hair with this product. Please don’t buy this. The company should get rid of it. My hair felt like plastic after every wash and it was getting shorter and shorter.
