Milk_shake Blonde & Grey Toning
Toning products for blonde and grey hair that has gone warm. There are two ranges here and they are not the same colour, which matters more than it sounds.
About this collection
Silver Shine or Icy Blonde?
Both correct warmth. They are pigmented differently, and that is what should decide it.
- Silver Shine is the violet one. This is what most people mean by a purple shampoo. Its berry-infused violet pigment mutes yellow tones in bright, cool blondes and in grey hair.
- Icy Blonde is black-pigmented, not purple. The carbon-black cleanse counteracts orange as well as yellow, which is why it suits platinum and cool ash blonde.
Put simply: if what you are seeing is yellow, Silver Shine. If it has gone orange, Icy Blonde.
Between washes
The Icy Blonde Toning Spray is the washless one. Its toning dyes are violet and blue rather than the shampoo's black pigment, so it refreshes tone without another wash.
Milkshake or milk_shake?
The brand writes its name with an underscore, milk_shake, but most people search for it as milkshake or milk shake. Same brand, same products.
